About Me
I’m MaryKate Laffin, M.Ed., the founder of Little Bridges Advocacy. With over six years of experience as a kindergarten teacher and Early Childhood School Director, I’ve seen firsthand how challenging it can be for families to navigate the education system.
After sitting in countless IEP and school meetings, I noticed one thing again and again: parents often felt overwhelmed, unheard, or unsure of how to best advocate for their child. I want to change that.
That’s why I started Little Bridges Advocacy—to walk alongside families with warmth, clarity, and guidance. My mission is simple: to build bridges between home, school, and community so every child can thrive.
